Just realised I hadn’t come back to update the results of the Stampin’ Up! fundraiser for Haiti… here is the official SU! result……
Haitian Relief Results
4 March 2010
Once again, Stampin′ Up! demonstrators have shown what Stampin′ Up! is all about by making a difference in the lives of others. Worldwide, demonstrators sold 13,587 of the stamp sets that were set aside for Haitian relief. From each of those sales, Stampin′ Up! will donate $2 to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. That’s over $27,000 (US) donated to people who desperately need your help. Congratulations!
Thank you all for your efforts!
Isn’t that fabulous?! And six of my lovely customers bought that set to help donate 🙂 warm fuzzy feeling right now 🙂
Here is a card made with one of the little hearts in that set.
It’s for a 10th anniversary and I didn’t want to write ‘ten’ or ’10’ on there (being a bit lazy about stamping letters straight and/or cutting out individual letters!! LOL!) so as soon as I saw this layout in the upcoming autumn/winter mini I just knew that I could adapt it to make the 10th anniversary card! 10 hearts = 10 years! You could easily change the number of hearts/stamped circles to represent any number for a birthday or anniversary – although once you get past 12 or so the front of the card may look a little crowded!! LOL!
Take care! K 🙂
